1. Controller

Controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Kadir Bolat Germany Email: kadir-bo@outlook.com

2. Principles of data processing

Personal data is processed only where necessary to provide this website securely and reliably, respond to enquiries or act on the basis of consent. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. The applicable legal basis is stated in the following sections. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

3. Hosting and delivery

This website is delivered through an external hosting provider. The provider processes technically necessary connection and log data, particularly IP address, request time, requested resource, referrer, browser type and operating system. Processing is necessary for the secure, stable and efficient delivery of the website and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the technical security and reliable delivery of this online service. Log data is retained only for as long as necessary for security and error analysis or as required by law.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

This website currently sets no optional cookies and uses neither local storage nor session storage for analytics, marketing, external media or other optional purposes. The privacy settings list only services that are actually used: technically necessary delivery through Vercel and local storage of the privacy choice. To store and manage your choice, the website uses the local-storage entry “portfolio-consent-v4”. It contains the consent version, the status of the necessary category, the list of active optional services and the time of the decision. That list currently contains no optional services. The entry is not used for analytics or marketing and remains until you delete this website's data, withdraw your choice or a new consent version is introduced. Access is necessary to provide and demonstrate your expressly selected privacy settings (Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG). You can open the overview at any time through “Privacy settings” in the footer. Earlier versions of this website may have stored the local-storage entries “portfolio-consent-v1”, “portfolio-privacy-notice-v2” or “portfolio-consent-v3”. The current version no longer reads or uses these entries. You can remove them by deleting this website's data in your browser.

5. Optional services

No analytics, marketing, tracking or externally embedded media services are currently used. Empty categories and precautionary consent choices are therefore not displayed. If optional services are introduced in the future, the consent version will be increased and consent will be requested again. The updated choice will explain the purpose, provider, storage duration and any transfers to third countries in advance. Rejecting and consenting will be equally accessible, and consent can be withdrawn at any time through the privacy settings with effect for the future. The legal bases will then be Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.

6. Contact by email

If you contact me by email, I process your email address, the message and any other information you provide in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, for pre-contractual enquiries, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require continued storage. It is disclosed only where necessary to handle the enquiry or required by law.

7. Retention

Where no specific retention period is stated in this policy, personal data is deleted once the purpose of processing no longer applies. Statutory retention duties and retention for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims remain unaffected. The local privacy choice remains stored until you delete this website's data or a new consent version becomes technically necessary.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, contact: kadir-bo@outlook.com

9. Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. A list of German supervisory authorities is available at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Service/Anschriften/anschriften_node.html
